On the 2 mile Long Sands Beach, which is just across the street (if we were any closer, you'd get your feet wet!) you can enjoy sun bathing, swimming, kite flying, kayaking, beach-combing, and leisurely walks on the beach. Close by you can find shops, restaurants, golf courses and churches, as well as York's scenic Nubble Lighthouse and Boon Island. Whale watching, lobstering trips, deep sea fishing, and York's Wild Kingdom are other near-by activities. You won't want to miss enchanting York Village or scenic York Harbor for a taste of New England history and charm. It's just a short ride to the shopping outlets in Kittery, the historic city of Portsmouth, NH, or the Playhouse and other attractions in Ogunquit. Or, if you prefer to just kick back and relax, soak up the sun on our spacious front deck, but don't forget the sunscreen!
